Motorcycle Transport Service & Booking

How do I book my motorcycle transport?
You can request a quote online or contact us directly by phone or email. Once we confirm availability and pricing, we’ll secure your booking and provide collection details and an estimated delivery window.

What information do you need to provide a quote?

We require the collection and delivery postcodes (or countries), motorcycle make and model, whether the bike is running, preferred dates, and any special requirements (e.g., high value, accessories, non-standard dimensions). We also need to know if the bike is fitted with fixed panniers that cannot be removed.

How much notice do you need before collection?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly during peak touring seasons. However, we can often accommodate bookings within a few days depending on route availability.

Do you offer urgent transport?

Yes, we can offer a dedicated delivery subject to availability. Please contact us directly for priority or time-critical transport requirements. All our quotes are based on a ‘groupage’ rate i.e. single bikes travelling with two or three other bikes.

Motorbike Transport Pricing & Payment

How is the price of my motorcycle transport calculated?

Pricing is based on distance, route efficiency, motorcycle size/type, urgency, and any additional services required (e.g., storage, customs handling).

Are there extra charges for remote locations?

Remote or difficult-access locations may incur a surcharge. We will always confirm any additional costs before booking.

When is payment due?

For group bookings of two or more motorcycles a 25% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. With all bookings you will receive an invoice two weeks prior to shipment which must be paid on receipt by bank transfer or other prior arrangement. No delivery will be made without receipt of payment.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer and other agreed payment methods. Details are provided upon booking confirmation.

Motorcycle Transport Insurance & Liability

Is my motorcycle insured during transport?

Yes. All motorcycles are covered by our goods-in-transit insurance while in our care. We can provide confirmation of cover upon request.

What does the insurance cover?

Our insurance covers loss or damage occurring during transport. Pre-existing damage is recorded at collection. Our standard insurance cover is up to £50,000.00 for any one motorcycle.

Can I arrange additional insurance for high-value bikes?

Yes. For classic, rare, or high-value motorcycles, additional cover can be arranged upon request.

What happens if there is damage?

We complete a condition report at collection and delivery. In the unlikely event of damage, this will be documented and handled promptly through our insurance process.

Preparing Your Motorcycle for Transport

How should I prepare my bike for transport?

●    Leave only a minimal amount of fuel in the tank
●    Remove loose accessories where possible
●    Ensure the battery is secure
●    Provide keys and any necessary alarm/immobiliser instructions

We will advise if anything additional is required.

Do you transport non-running bikes?

Yes. Please inform us in advance so we can ensure appropriate loading equipment is available.

Do you transport bikes with sidecars or custom builds?

Yes, subject to dimensions. Please provide full details when requesting a quote.

Will you inspect the bike before transport?

Yes. We complete a visual condition check and may take photographs prior to loading.

Transport & Security for your Motorbike

How are bikes secured during transport?

Motorcycles are professionally loaded and secured upright using soft straps designed specifically for motorcycle transport.

Are bikes stored during transit?
Depending on route scheduling, bikes may remain secured within our enclosed transport vehicle or secure facility. They remain insured throughout.

Can I track my motorcycle during transport?

We provide updates throughout the journey and confirm estimated delivery timings.

UK–EU & International Motorcycle Transport

What documents are required post-Brexit?

Transport between the UK and EU may require customs documentation depending on whether the motorcycle is temporary (touring/event) or permanent export/import. We will advise on required paperwork at booking.

Do you assist with customs clearance?

Yes. We can guide you through the necessary documentation and processes to ensure smooth cross-border transport.

Will there be customs delays?

While we plan carefully to minimise delays, customs inspections are outside our control. We keep customers informed of any updates.

Do you transport motorbikes to non-EU countries such as Norway or Switzerland?

Yes. Additional customs documentation may apply. Please contact us for route details and requirements.

Special Collections

Can you collect from dealers, auctions, or ports?

Yes. We regularly collect from motorcycle dealers, auction houses, private sellers, and ports.

Do you transport bikes purchased online?

Yes. We can liaise directly with the seller to arrange collection.

Do you transport multiple bikes for tours or events?

What if I need storage?

Secure short-term storage may be available by prior arrangement.
